Aaron thought he would help out the
fire dept by shovelling around the hydrant...
he must have been bored?
Cute - he was afraid they couldn't get to it if there was a fire...
Then he must of got really bored...
I came home to an ice rink in the driveway...
I said, buddy... what the heck?
he said, Uncle Bruce has a bigger one mom, mine is small.
I said, Uncle Bruce has a well, he doesn't have to pay for water - I do!!
BUT... it really is kind of cool...
and he was so excited and proud...
and I think I may have to use it tomorrow...
I just hope someone doesn't
slip and fall and I end up with an insurance claim for good old Uncle Bruce!!
Note: This was two days ago, we now have another 6 inches of snow!
Winter Wonderland!!!!
How fun! Way to go Aaron and Uncle Bruce!! :)
ReplyDeletethat's pretty cool - maybe i'll have to try that in my driveway! :) did he use a garden hose to flood it?? :)
ReplyDeleteYep, a good old garden hose... my plow guy was more than a little upset because there are 2 x 4's iced into my drive that were the "walls" for the water.
ReplyDeleteAnd my neighbors just crack up because they all know that Pete would have flipped and yanked the plug on this project and there would never have been the possibility of a rink!! Kids will be kids and he worked darn hard on it. It will melt someday but for now - FUN!!
seriously. i am proud to say i have my brother for a brother....
ReplyDeletei know NO OTHER freshman boy who feels the need to shovel around the fire hydrant...and make an ice rink in the driveway..
its fine and cute.
but if i slip and fall....
i may have to be pete and pull the plug haha.
